RHUM BLANC

40% ABV

The unique terroir of the volcanic soil is ever present as minerality collides with honey and cane flowers in this highly mixable blanc agricole rhum. This is the bartender's go-to well rhum agricole and works in a wide variety of different cocktail applications.

 

Nose: Overwhelming aromas of fresh lime, honey, and cane flower are balanced with more savory vegetal notes and a beautiful expression of anise - unique to Rhum J.M.

 

Palate: Round and sweet on the palate, honey and cane flowers really shine through. The stewed banana and grilled pineapple, the signature of Rhum J.M, is ever present as well as the unmistakable vegetal and mineral undertones.

RHUM BLANC

50% ABV

Rhum J.M Blanc displays the raw power of what is regarded as the best terroir on the island. Oily lime zest and anise balance out a chalky earthiness on the palate. The perfect rhum for a ti'punch or daiquiri.

RHUM BLANC

55% ABV

Rhum J.M 110 Proof Blanc is a true expression of character and terroir - which the volcanic soil of Mount Pelee and the humid climate in northern Martinique contribute heavily to. This degree of proof is typical in Martinique and only accentuates the potent fruit and mineral qualities of this beautiful spirit. Enjoy in a classic Ti' Punch or a refreshing shaken cocktail.

GOLD ESB

50% ABV

Rhum J.M Gold displays an intense sugarcane flavor that has beautiful viscosity on the palate. The rich golden color is a simple result from the time it has aged in new toasted oak and ex-Bourbon barrels for a period of 12 months before being blended and bottled. This is a highly versatile rhum agricole that is delicious and charismatic on its own but is also a favorite in tiki cocktails due to its spicy demeanor and higher proof.

 

Nose: All of the raw green, honey, sugarcane properties of the white rhum are still present on the nose but the subtle addition of light spice, vanilla, and toasted wood shine through due to the light aging.

 

Palate: A beautiful harmony of winter spices, vanilla, and wood are upfront followed by the familiar vegetal flavors of white rhum.

 

VO

43% ABV

Aged in toasted new American oak for 3 years, Rhum J.M VO is robust and spirited. It is a crowd pleaser for rum and whiskey drinkers of all ages and is the gateway to enjoying and appreciating older rum vintages. Enjoy it on its own or relish in its brilliance in an old fashioned or manhattan.

 

Nose: Heavy aromas of wood and vanilla are complimented by dried fruit and coconut. Over time the palate opens up into much more grilled tropical fruit notes.

 

Palate: Lush and spicy at first taste, particularly winter baking spices. These flavors transform into toasted wood and vanilla flavors followed by subtle hints of dried and exotic fruit.

 

VSOP

43% ABV

An exquisite and complex favorite amongst the biggest rum connoisseurs in the world, Rhum J.M VSOP is aged for 3 years in new American oak then rested in a combination of ex-Bourbon and French oak an additional year before being blended and bottled. This results in an intensely structured palate and a spicy, nougaty richness.

 

Nose: The nose is dominated by exotic fruit and quince paste followed by vanilla bean and wood.

 

Palate: The exotic fruit aromas are embellished further on the palate and complimented with lavender and cinnamon. Further exploration will reveal gingerbread, honey, and woody smoke creating a nice balance of structure and harmony.

 

XO

45% ABV

Aged for 5 years in ex-Bourbon barrels before being finished for a final year in French oak, the striking copper tone is unmistakable and precedes an elegant and complex flavor profile. A generous bouquet of various dried fruits and jams transition into a rich honey, spice, and almond palate.

 

Nose: A rich array of various fruity aromas are ever­present on the nose including candied orange zest, figs, dates, prunes, and quince paste. Further exploration will reveal gingerbread notes seducing you with its elegance.

 

Palate: The strong dried and confit aromas of the nose are intensified on the palate and accompanied by the sweet note of tonka bean. This rhum is characterized by extreme depth and volume throughout and the finish is long and enveloping.

 

10 YEAR VINTAGE

CASK STRENGTH

Aged 100% in re-charred Bourbon barrels, the explosion on your mouth’s sensory is matchless. Pure Rhum Agricole delicately aged in re-charred Bourbon barrels and allowed to naturally reduce and bottled at "cask strength" creating a boldly flavored single vintage aged rhum with tremendous body, redolent of crushed walnuts and pecans, pecan pie and brown sugar. The flavors are more sophisticated, with notes of saddle leather, old wood and tobacco joining the subtle sweetness

 

10 YEAR VINTAGE

SHRUBB

35% ABV

A fundamental ingredient in classic French Caribbean traditions and Creole cuisine, Shrubb J.M is a brilliant marriage of aged rhum agricole with bitter orange zest, natural sugarcane syrup, and a maceration of locally sourced vanilla bean, cinnamon, nutmeg, and bitter roots and barks. Shrubb is a holiday tradition in Martinique which starts annually on All-Saints Day (November 1st) at which point dried citrus peels are ceremoniously peeled and sundried. The peels are added to bottles of rhum to infuse in the sun and just before Christmas the infusion, spiced sugarcane syrup, and more rhum are combined to form a delightful and festive treat to serve at all social occasions throughout the season. Shrubb is usually served by itself or with Champagne in Martinique but this delicious orange liqueur has been embraced by bartenders and chefs alike for all applications from margaritas to souffles.
